On behalf of the whole Rolvenden Primary School community, we wish to express our sadness at the news of Her Majesty The Queen’s passing on Thursday 8th September. Our thoughts are with her family, friends and all those who will mourn her passing.

As a school, we will pay our respects by continuing to support our children over the coming days and weeks. Helping them to acknowledge and understand their feelings about this sad news and ensure that they feel comfortable to ask any questions which they may have.

On the day following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, we opened a school book of condolence and gave the children the opportunity to share what the Queen meant to them through words and pictures. This has been reproduced to share with you here.
