The School Day – Here is a handy guide to the school day.

First thing

School starts at 8.45am prompt. Every second counts so please no late arrivals!

The gates open at 8.35am. If there is a member of staff in the school playground please feel free to drop and go.

The School Office is open from 8.35am if you need to see Mrs Hughes or Mrs Catt please go through the front door.

Should you arrive after 8.45am please sign your children in at the School Office.

Lunch time

Lunch time is 12:15pm until 1:15pm for EYFS/KS1 and 12.30pm to 1.15pm for KS2

If your child is in Year 2 or below they can get free school meals. If you receive certain benefits, and you are in Year 3 and above, you may continue to get free school meals. Find out if you qualify by clicking here.

For those having a packed lunch please note that we are a healthy school and children are not allowed fizzy drinks or sweets in their lunch boxes. For handy tips on healthy eating click here.

So children can make the most of their play time, please make sure they have suitable footwear and clothing with them at school.

School finishes at 3.15pm

Please pick up your child from the playground. A member of staff will be on the school gate to ensure only accompanied children leave the premises. Your children will be released from their classrooms by their teacher.

School clubs 3.15pm – 4.15pm

The main school gate is locked from 3.20pm so please use the back gate to collect your children. There is always a broad selection of clubs on offer, the vast majority of which are free. See the Clubs Hub to find out more.

During severe weather e.g. heavy snowfall, we will contact you via Class Dojo if the school is going to be closed.
